In this Spiritually based, weekend workshop we will be exploring our own personal archetypal images and putting them into form with color and fabric. Beginning with a Circle of sharing we will loosen our minds by journaling, looking at archetypal pictures and drawing (no experience necessary.)
Then we'll make a pictorial quilt based on the archetypal image which has emerged from our inner work. We'll translate the drawings into fabric using paper, pen, fusible interfacing and scissors. We will satin stitch the quilt pieces with our sewing machines, and then begin the relaxing and healing process of emellishing our work with buttons and beads.
Circles of sharing will be part of the workshop at the beginning, during and at the closing of our time together. Your "Spirit Quilt" will have a lasting impact on your life by showing a way to explore, heal and express your perfection.
